Hit The Road 2017 Applications are Open!

Hit The Road are looking for young musicians in Scotland to join this year’s touring project and applications are now open.

Hit The Road will host five tours held across Scotland, each themed by music genre. Three successful acts from each genre will be taken on tour, with each act headlining their home venue. All successful acts will be taken through a training and rehearsal process before the tour begins.

There is also the chance to attend training workshops with industry professionals covering all aspects of the reality of touring, and there will be training opportunities for young people wishing to try out support roles such as sound engineering and stage technicians.

Online registration is open to those who are:

  • aged 14-19
  • living in Scotland
  • involved in any kind of music making
  • interested in learning about and developing their own musical career.

Kloe, Model Aeroplanes, JR Green, Indigo Velvet, Man of Moon and Be Charlotte are just some of the artists who have been involved in the previous years of Hit The Road.

You can find more information and register for Hit The Road here.
