Off The Record

Off The Record is is a series of music industry events which take place across Scotland, aimed at young musicians and those who want to work in the industry – aged 14-25 years.

The next Off The Record event is in Inverness on the 25th of February between 10.30am – 5pm, hosted at Ironworks Venue.

The day will consist of four panel discussions and two ‘Need To Know’ talks hosted by key figures from the music business. Each section will be tailored to cover a specific part of the music industry and will provide rounded knowledge for the listeners. Topics for the day are as follows;

Organising & Getting Gigs
Releasing Music
Promoting Your Music
Working in Music
Need To Know : Collection Societies
Need To Know : Music Photography
