If you are wondering how to get your release considered for editorial playlists like New Music Friday on platforms such as Spotify, then this is something EmuBands can help with.
EmuBands Pro subscribers get access to all of our additional services and features. This includes our Playlist Pitching service, where we can pitch your music to digital platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and more for playlist consideration.

How does it work?
When we email to confirm that your release is ready for distribution, we will send you a link as part of the same email to submit your release’s pitching information to us. Keep an eye on your email’s spam/junk folder for this, just in case.
The information we ask for pitching includes some of your release’s metadata, the story behind your release, and any promotional plans for it.
We then use this information to submit your release to digital platforms for playlist consideration, drawing on years of experience to submit the best possible pitch we can for you.
It’s as simple as that! Your release will be pitched to stores for playlist consideration by our team and you can continue focusing on promoting it as much as possible ahead of your release date.
Is there anything else I need to consider for pitching?
Yes! Please remember that we need both your release to be processed and its pitching information submitted to us with at least 4-6 weeks of lead-in time ahead of your release date. If not, then we will likely not be able to pitch your release.
Only brand new, unreleased music is eligible for pitching. If you are distributing a release made up of tracks which have been made available before on the digital platforms, then these will not be eligible for pitching.
You may not see your release being pitched via Spotify for Artists as soon as you had expected, but please do not worry about this. Our team submit pitches with enough time for each platform to consider them ahead of their release date.
Finally, please remember that EmuBands pitching your release on your behalf does not guarantee that it will be included on any playlists.
