Can I add multiple sound clips for the same track on TikTok?
Yes. We can now create multiple TikTok sound clips from the same recording, so your audience can choose from different sections of your song when creating videos.
What does this mean?
Instead of having a single TikTok sound for your track, you can have multiple versions available, each starting at a different point in the song.
For example, you could have:
-
A clip starting at 0:30
A clip starting at 2:00
A chorus-only clip
A shortened intro
All linked to the same release – you don’t need to upload multiple versions of your track to EmuBands.
Can I choose where the clip starts?
Yes. Simply tell us the start time you’d like each clip to begin from.
Can I choose how long the clip is?
Yes. Clips can be any length up to a maximum of 60 seconds.
Do I need to upload another version of my song?
No. There’s no need to create or distribute additional versions of your release. We’ll create the additional TikTok sound clips from your existing track.
How much does it cost?
At this time, you can request up to three TikTok sound clips for the same track for £7.50, provided they’re all requested as part of the same update.
If you’d like to add more clips later, or change your existing clips in the future, a new update fee of £7.50 will apply each time.
How do I request additional TikTok clips?
If you’re a Pro or Premium subscriber, contact your Account Manager with:
-
The track you’d like updated
The start time(s) for each clip
The duration of each clip (up to 60 seconds)
If you’re on a Basic or Plus plan, contact our Artist Relations team with the same information. They’ll arrange payment and process your request.
You can find the details of your account manager, or support contact in the ‘Support’ section of your EmuBands account.
How long does it take?
Once your request has been processed, new clips typically appear on TikTok within 24–48 hours.
Will this affect my release on other streaming services?
No. This only affects how your track appears as a sound on TikTok. Your release on Spotify, Apple Music and other platforms remains unchanged.
