First of all, don’t panic!
This is known as an artist mapping issue, and it can happen if you share the same name, or a similar name, with another artist who already has music on a digital service. A lot of digital services will use algorithms to try and ‘map’ releases together on the same page, if they have the same artist name. Here’s how to fix these issues:
Spotify
- My content is on another artist’s page
If your release is showing on another artist’s page, contact us and we’ll help you get the release moved to the correct page (we can also help set up a new artist page for you if you don’t have one).
- Another artist’s content is on my page
If another artist’s track / release is showing on your page (that is, an artist page you’ve already claimed on Spotify), then you should fill out this form and a member of Spotify’s team will work to resolve this as soon as possible*.
Other Services
For issues with other services simply fill out this form, and we’ll work with you to resolve it as soon as possible.
