There’s no simple switch on the back-end of streaming platforms to transfer catalogues between distributors. To move your releases from LANDR (or any distributor) to EmuBands, you’ll need to upload identical versions of your tracks to EmuBands, then request takedowns from LANDR.

3. Add Your Releases
Use our easy uploader in your account – just hit “Add a New Release” from your EmuBands Dashboard.
Will Your Streams and Followers Transfer?
Yes, in most cases – but there are a few things to get right.
To give your release the best chance of linking with the old version on Spotify (and transferring play counts and playlist placements), ensure this metadata is identical:
- Track Title
- Artist Name
- Version info (e.g. “Live Version”)
- ISRC – What is an ISRC?
- Audio file – very important that this is the exact same master
It’s not guaranteed, but following these steps gives you the best possible chance when you move from Landr to EmuBands. We recommend setting your release live with us at least 1 week before LANDR removes the original.
Ask LANDR to Takedown the Old Versions
Once your new versions are live on DSPs, and you’ve noticed the stream counts have carried over, contact LANDR to remove their versions. Takedown times vary, but most distributors can handle this within a few days.
