  4. Can I Upload Hi-Res Audio Files?

If you’re an EmuBands Pro or Premium subscriber, you can upload hi-res audio files to supported DSPs at no extra cost.

How It Works

When adding a release:

  • Head to the ‘Extras’ page.
  • Select the Hi-Res Audio option.
  • On the uploads page, provide two sets of files:
    • Hi-Res WAVs (for DSPs that support hi-res audio)
    • Standard WAVs (for all other DSPs)

File Specifications:

  • Hi-Res: 24-bit (sample size), 44.1kHz–192kHz (sample rate)
  • Standard: 16-bit (sample size), 44.1kHz (sample rate), 1411 kbps (bit rate)

Currently, hi-res audio is supported by: 7digital, Amazon Music, Apple Music, KKBOX, Qobuz, Spotify & Tidal.

Apple Digital Masters

If your hi-res files are Apple Digital Masters (ADM):

  • You can have your release badged as ADM on Apple Music/iTunes.
  • Your mastering engineer must be an Apple-certified ADM engineer.
  • Provide their name, email, or studio name on the uploads page.
