  4. Can I Upload Hi-Res Audio Files?

If you’re an EmuBands Pro subscriber, you’re able to upload hi-res audio files to supported DSPs at no extra cost.

It’s simple, as long as you’re on the EmuBands Pro tier, you can add the Hi-Res Audio option when you get to the ‘Extras’ page of adding a release. Once you select this, you’ll be asked to upload two sets of files on the uploads page:

– 1 x set of Hi-Res WAVs (for Hi-Res DSPs)
– 1 x set of Standard WAVs (for every other DSP)

Hi-Res specifications: 24-bit (sample size), 44.1kHz up to 192khz (sample rate).
Standard specifications: 16-bit (sample size), 44.1kHz (sample rate) and 1411 kbps (bit rate).

Hint: you can upgrade to EmuBands Pro by heading to the ‘Subscription’ page of your EmuBands account, and unlock Pro benefits instantly. Learn more about Pro here: EmuBands Pro

DSPs which support Hi-Res Audio at this time: 7digital, Amazon Music, Apple Music, KKBOX, Qobuz and
Tidal.

    Apple Digital Masters

If your hi-res audio files are Apple Digital Masters, you’ll have the option of having the release badged as containing Apple Digital Masters (ADM). In order for the release to display an ADM badge on Apple Music / iTunes, the mastering engineer you’ve used for your tracks must be a certified Apple Digital Masters engineer. You’ll need to supply us with the name/email/studio name of the mastering engineer on the uploads page if you wish to add ADMs.
