A claim is when a match is found between a sound recording and a video via Content ID – i.e. YouTube identify that a user-generated video contains audio from one or more sound recordings.
When a claim is created, the monetization policy you selected will be applied to that claim, although sometimes you will be required to confirm this. We will notify you by email when this happens, and you can log in to your EmuBands account and follow the instructions in the email to confirm or release the claim. If your claim is then disputed, we will also notify you by e-mail and will help you to resolve the situation.
If you have an EmuBands Pro subscription, you will be able to register your releases with Content ID. If you have an EmuBands Basic or Plus subscription, you can upgrade your account’s plan via the ‘Subscription’ section of your EmuBands account.
