A Trend Report is a daily update of how your release is performing on a particular music store. Some services provide more frequent sales data, so you don’t have to wait on the full royalty report to see how many copies of your release you have sold. These reports can also contain more information not included in your royalty report, such as the purchaser’s post / zip code, so can be very useful in assessing local promotional activities.
Details on earnings aren’t included within Trend reports, and for that reason, we will only pay royalties based on the full Royalties Report, as occasionally a ‘sale’ appearing in the Trend Report may not result in a completed transaction, if, for example, the customer’s payment were to fail.
