Can EmuBands Deliver Spatial Audio / Dolby Atmos?

EmuBands is able to deliver Dolby Atmos to DSPs which support this filetype.

What is Spatial Audio / Dolby Atmos?

Dolby Atmos adds a new dimension to music listening. It creates a more immersive experience by placing sound in a three-dimensional space, allowing listeners to feel surrounded by the music.

For artists, Dolby Atmos offers greater creative freedom. It allows them to fully manifest their artistic vision and imbue their music with heightened emotional resonance for their dedicated followers.

Dolby Atmos File Specifications

To deliver Dolby Atmos successfully, your files must meet the following requirements:

1. 24-bit PCM resolution at a 48 kHz sample rate
2. ADM BWAV file format that conforms to the Dolby Atmos Master ADM profile
3. A minimum of 8 and a maximum of 128 PCM channels
4. The same duration as the stereo version, with no added silence at the start or end
5. All files must be Dolby Atmos masters
6. All files must use the same frame rate

Your files should be mastered by a professional engineer who is familiar with the Dolby Atmos Master ADM (Apple Digital Masters) profile.

How Much Does Dolby Atmos Delivery Cost?

Dolby Atmos delivery is available to EmuBands Pro and Premium subscribers.

While hi-res audio delivery is included with Pro and Premium plans, Dolby Atmos delivery has an additional fee of £20 per track.

How Do I Upload Dolby Atmos Files?

1. Upgrade to Pro or Premium – Log in to your EmuBands account, go to the Subscriptions tab, and subscribe to Pro or Premium.
2. Opt in to Dolby Atmos – On the Optional Extras page of your release, select Dolby Atmos. You’ll then be prompted to contact your account manager.
3. Continue with your standard upload – For new releases, complete payment and upload your standard or hi-res WAV files and artwork as normal.
4. Confirm pricing and payment – Your account manager will confirm the total Dolby Atmos fee and send a secure Stripe payment link.
5. Submit your Dolby Atmos files – After payment, you’ll complete a short form confirming file compliance. Due to file size, upload your files via Google Drive or a similar.
6. Processing and delivery – Once we receive your files, our team will process them and begin delivery of your Spatial Audio/Dolby Atmos mixes to supported DSPs.
