Yes. Since 10th September 2025, EmuBands delivers lossless audio to Spotify as standard. This means all releases delivered through EmuBands will appear on Spotify in lossless quality (16-bit/44.1kHz or higher).
For users on our Pro and Premium plans, EmuBands can now also deliver Hi-Res audio (24-bit) to Spotify:
– New Hi-Res releases (added from 10th Sept 2025 onwards): 24-bit audio files will be delivered directly to Spotify.
– Existing standard releases upgraded to Hi-Res: Spotify will receive a Hi-Res audio update.
– Existing Hi-Res releases: These will need an update to deliver the 24-bit files to Spotify. There is no additional charge for this, you’ll just need to either email your account manager, or message us on Live Chat to request it.
– Even if your release is not set up for Hi-Res delivery, it will still appear in lossless quality on Spotify, as EmuBands delivers 16-bit 44.1kHz lossless by default.
Spotify’s official documentation notes playback “up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz”. However, their accepted specifications also include higher sample rates, which EmuBands supports and delivers as provided.
In summary:
Lossless (standard) audio → Delivered to Spotify for all EmuBands users.
Hi-Res (24-bit) audio → Delivered to Spotify for EmuBands Pro and EmuBands Premium users.
According to Spotify’s official announcement on September 10, 2025, lossless audio is now rolling out to Spotify Premium subscribers, with in-app notifications and user-enabled settings in Media Quality. Songs in up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz lossless format will be available, and a Lossless indicator appears in playback and Connect Picker on compatible devices.
